The children enjoyed some yummy pancakes that we cooked on the fire. They said they were "delicious" and ate them all up! We talked about the ingredients and what was happening as we added them.
"Look the butter is melting. I can hear it sizzling."
"They are turning brown now! That bit went black. The fire got it too hot."
